Hi there

This week’s newsletter looks a bit different since my lovely assistant Kim is in Sri Lanka, and I am moving house. I wasn’t planning on sending an email this week, but we have so many updates.

With that being said, let’s dive into all things Instagram because, while TikTok was going dark for 12 hours, Instagram was coming in hot with new features and announcements.

    The head of Instagram Adam Moseri has started a reels series sharing how the Instagram Algorithm works. Check out one of his videos here and a summary here.

    Adam also talked about how often you should post on Instagram

  • Instagram has rolled out the new 4:5 Grid (if you have followed me for a while you know that this was announced months ago)

  • While TikTok was down, Instagram announced a CapCut competitor App called “Edits”

  • You might soon be able to schedule your posts in Facebook groups
